Dr Boss has a wealth of experience with over thirty years of legal experience. Called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1992 Dr Boss practiced in England before emigrating to Australia. 

Dr Boss worked initially at Crown Law in Brisbane before taking up a five year short service commission in the Army where she specialised in Military law, Administrative law and Operational law. 

Returning to the private Bar in Canberra Dr Boss specialised in criminal law, family law, human rights law, administrative law, government law and general advising. 

In 2012 Dr Boss was appointed as a Magistrate and Coroner of the ACT Magistrates Court. She left this position to take up appointment as the Interim National Commissioner for Defence and Veteran Suicide Prevention. 

Dr Boss returns to the private Bar with a wealth of experience across many areas of law and practice. She is a Nationally accredited mediator, dealing in Civil matters & Institutional Abuse matters.
